At first you think—MF DOOM. They both have non-sequitur lyrics and repetitive rhyme patterns, however I would put DOOM a notch above because he has more polish than NoEmotion.
The album is middle Tier. Very solid production as far as beats. However, the novelty of NoEmotion’s flow and rhyme pattern can wear off after the third or fourth song. Every song is the same format. Even his ad libs are identical in every song. At the same time, I would venture to say that almost every other line is quotable. It’s all very random but entertaining.
I believe his aim is to peel the average radio listener’s ears off with his style and then to tape them back on with the beats he raps over. Very repetitive but the instrumentals keep it solid.
6. Nice beats, somewhat stagnant rhyme pattern. Overall unique sound. Download here
